    The World of Rugby

    Who here is a fan of rugby? League, Union, Six Nations or whatever. I am currently watching the Scotland vs Ireland match and it is just an interesting match.

    They say that Football is a gentlemans game, played by thugs and Rugby is a thugs game, played by gentlemen, which I believe is true. If you have never watched rugby before, you will note that it is not like other sports. The respect for the officials is how it should be. The game is exciting and played by real men.

    So, this thread is for any discussion about Rugby! :3

    i love rugby being from New Zealand!!! Go the All Blacks!! i also play for the local club, and i also play rugby league for the local club in my area, i play rugby on saturday and league on sunday xD
     
    Isn't 'Six Nations' a tournament? Lulz?

    League's all right I guess. Threatens heterosexuality more than tight clothing, though.

    Union's better. I've never played it, but the 2003 Rugby World Cup was better than any soccer world cup. Hope this year's one will be good.

    Yes, Nations is a tournament, what is so funny about that? Because I grouped it with League and Union? People can watch a tournament about a sport without actually following it, hence including it.
    Your point on the clothing is pretty pointless, so it seems like you can't actually fathom a decent comparison.

    Regardless, I was disappointed with England vs Wales not to long ago, just didn't seem like we were all there.​

    So, the Rugby World Cup started yesterday and I am currently watching ENG vs ARG and we are winning by the skin of our teeth.

    Eitherway, I love this world cup.[
