Rumors and Myths

Throughout your Pokemon gaming "career," you probably heard of at least one. One of the most famous examples I can think of are variety of rumors associated with the rocket launch counter in Mosdeep Space Center. (e.g. when the rocket launch count reaches 100, you can travel to the Moon where you can find Deoxys and capture it)

What are some of the rumors that you have heard of or believed in? Were you disappointed when you find out these rumors were true?

Oh, I heard about that one. xD" I didn't believe it, though, because, well, I just knew that the rocket-ship was nothing more than some static tiles. Anyway, one rumor that I actually did believe would be is the existence of Mewthree; Mewtwo, somehow, would evolve into it.

I honestly believed the rocketship one. I thought if I happen to catch the 1000th or 100th flight that I'd be able to go to the moon and catch Deoxys. Of course that was a big lie and I remembering being diasapointed when I found out it wasn't true. :( That's really the only one I remember believing honestly

The only one that ever got me was the mew truck myth. The one that said back in red/blue if you went to the truck near the S.S. Anne and used strength on it, the truck would move and mew would appear.

I remember trading over a scyther from my blue to my red that knew cut so I could skip the S.S. Anne and come back once I could use surf and strength and flip the truck. Didn't work of course. So disappointed as a kid.
