Can it be done? I'm trying to find a way to reliably discard energies from your hand/deck in cards from Diamond and Pearl on and having trouble seeing anything. Are there any known strategies out there, or would I just be out of luck?

(I think I'm using limited there right, but basically I mean DP on, I'm not totally up to date with the terminology yet.)

Well yes, there are some easy ways. You can attach all the extra fire energies you know you wont use to your first active Pokemon. You can get a card that allows you to discard cards from your hand (ex. Unknown ?).

Add me as a friend and post message on my profile if you want more info.

Well, right now I'm trying to go with MT Typhlosion / Infernape / Magmortar with a Pachirisu lead but I think that dumping energies on Pachirisu would be kind of a waste if I could start building up my chimchars on the first turn and/or second turns.

On the other hand, Unown ? just might work, though I'm not used to having that many energy in my hand at a time, being used to only having to attach one from there per turn. Hm, it might work if I invested in some more Roseanne's Researches...

Thanks, I might just trade for a couple!

Hmm, with Delcatty gone - Infernape isn't as strong as it could be.

You could try running it with the Great Encounters Lunatone, or maybe the Mysterious Treasures Bronzong. Felicity's Drawing is also a staple card in Infernape decks.

Felicity's Drawing, I can't believe I completely looked over that one. I can definitely put that in over some of my Buck's training. Thanks!

I thought about Lunatone but between two MT typhlosions and 2-3 infernapes I dont know if I could afford the bench or deck space.

Infernape is Strong in TCG . also its Lv.X has a move that deals 150 Damage thats cool!. but i use the old cards such as Salamence Delta. but i have the D/P card electivire that if i discarded an Electric energy card. its move giga impact base power becomes 120 instead of 60. poor me i have less energy cards but i play with my friends without using energy cards xd

Infernape Lv.X should be played as a tech in Infernape MD.
