Hey everyone. Just a quick question from a forum noob:
In all Pokemon games I play, I have a basic layout for my team (type-wise). One of the pokemon I always include is a rock and/or ground type to counter electric, flying, fire, etc. I started out my HG with a team in mind that Included a Golem for said space. I caught a geodude and loving raise and traded it for my Golem. But when it came time to challeng the 1337 4, I was going over the stats of my pokemon and I realised that my golem sucked. So I ditched it (though I had grinded hard for its level) and set my mind on a Rhyperior, which I am training now Its moveset is:
Rock wrecker, rock climb (hm slaves=pokemon cruelty), earthquake and stone edge (8 pp). I'd rather have the more accurate and higher pp rockslide than stone endge, but I seemed to have used that tm on golem! Any ideas for a better moveset?

Try the Movesets and Strategies section rather than here, or more specifically the Moveset request thread there - the HGSS section is more about discussing the games than for team help/moveset like that section.

But at a glance you might want to consider dropping Rock Wrecker (hyper beam-esque moves like that leave you vunerable ont he 2nd turn and you can do more damage in two turns with another move instead of that, and you're not left vulnerable), and Rock Climb has no real use after you've explored everywhere on the overworld for a Pokemon that you want to use for battles - even Return does better with power there.
