DA agreed to revive the CN, so I'm reposting this. I did add some to the OP though.
Copying this from what I added: However, we will have to decide on four themes, so post your ideas in this thread! I believe 5th generation Wi-Fi and Dream World should be included at least, with the other two as gimmicks (or one for 4th gen. OU).
We'll decide on a time and date after that.
Community nights are when we schedule a block of time where most S&Mers can come on the server, have fun, play in small tournaments, discuss various Pokémon-related topics, and help new members learn about competitive Pokémon.
DA, Oppo, I, and a few others think we should give this a second chance, now that we have a Pokémon Online server. There are a few PO benefits that will help with the problems we had in the old Community Nights, one is that no one will have to host the tournament anymore due to the tour feature on PO. Second, there's a separate channel for tournaments, so this will let everyone chat in the main while the tour channel can be left for questions, etc. Lastly, we can have an announcement in the server now (it stays at the top of the chat), so that could prevent some questions about themes and what will be the next tour. Also, it is 5th gen. after all, so that should help boost activity of course.
Since there will be mini tournaments which will have themes, we don't want people to be rushed making a team. We also don't want to have to wait on anyone. For that reason we will post the four themes of the mini tournaments that will take place during the next community night in this thread. This will give members enough time to make a few teams. However, we will have to decide on four themes, so post your ideas in this thread! I believe 5th generation Wi-Fi and Dream World should be included at least, with the other two as gimmicks (or one for 4th gen. OU).
Since some people have busy and sometimes changing schedules, this thread can also be used for working out scheduling conflicts. The issue of time zones was a key factor in making tournaments such a bust, so we will do everything in our power to stop that from happening again. In my opinion we should have the Community Night during winter break, so everyone will most likely be online. There's also something else during that time that could help with activity, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to leak it yet. We should decide on the themes first though.
Since activity should be pretty high during community nights, we're going to be especially strict with members being cocky, annoying, or just plain stupid. Be respectful of other members--failure to do so will result in a ban lasting until community night is over! Also, don't whine too much about hax (ELF). Hax is a part of Pokémon. You're playing the wrong game if you can't stand bad luck. If you're going to complain about every single critical hit or lost Speed tie, please don't bother coming on. It ruins the fun for everyone.
Other than that, there isn't anything you need to know. We hope that these will boost activity and add a fun new twist to S&M that has been sorely lacking for quite some time. If you have any questions, ask in this thread. We will shortly begin trying to find a suitable day and time for the majority of our regulars.

Strategies & Movesets Community Night
What is this all about?
Community nights are when we schedule a block of time where most S&Mers can come on the server, have fun, play in small tournaments, discuss various Pokémon-related topics, and help new members learn about competitive Pokémon.
Why is this being revived?
DA, Oppo, I, and a few others think we should give this a second chance, now that we have a Pokémon Online server. Also, it is 5th gen. after all, so that should help boost activity of course.
How will these community nights work?
Since there will be mini tournaments which will have themes, we don't want people to be rushed making a team. We also don't want to have to wait on anyone. For that reason we will post the four themes of the mini tournaments that will take place during the next community night in this thread. This will give members enough time to make a few teams. Is there anything else I need to know?
