It was not a pop up. It was 60 IE windows opening at once.

Yeah I use IE XD, I don't think I am allowed to change it, but I haven't had trouble yet.

I used IE sometimes, just whenever something goes wrong with FF, which is rare.

In those 2 occasions in which it happened to me, it was right after closing an IE window; but it never froze my comp.
