Grave of the Fireflies. Was crying and crying throughout the whole show. -___-
I think Chrono Crusade's ending was sad. Uh, not sure if anyone's heard of that before, though.

kamichama karin- beginning is sad

naruto- dont know wh just make sme sad

tokyo mew mew- episode 51-52

...who says it ends on an optimistic note? it kinda didnt, but yeah, at it was sad, but hey, thats reality, sometimes you don't get the girl, thats the way it is

I really have to agree with anyone who said Grave of the Firefles and Saikano. Those two were terribly sad. I almost cried, and I'm not normally one to cry after watching something.
