Here's something I threw together with AdvanceMap and Photoshoop.
I'm not 100% sure if this is the place to put this, but as it's just an image, enjoy:
... Apparently, I'm not allowed to post an image. Here's the URL anyway:
WWW sara.and.zuka.googlepages COM / v0.5.gif
(I'm assuming you know how to parse that...)
I've always wanted to play a pokemon game where there were no screen changes, and you just walked around in a permanent world. This, I guess, is what spawned of my idea. I admit, it does look a bit disjoined in places, but you can tell what's going on, which I'm proud of for a first timer. Yes, I know it's not finished, but I'll address that in the next para.
I have a question. How would I go about loading up one map inside another, and stretching the canvas to fit them both, then moving one about until it fit, etc. Basically, what I did on photoshoop, but with AdvanceMap. I wouldn't mind actually trying to get that ingame. (Don't worry about memory usage, etc, I won't be flashcarting it.)
Any help? Or is this the wrong section to post in?
