3rd Gen Saffron City Guards

    I have Pokemon LG (not a ROM). I have 5 badges in the game. I am trying to pass the guards that block my way to Saffron. They say something about being thirsty and the road being closed. I beat Team Rocket in their secret hideout and I havet the 5 gym badges. I tried buying the water, lemonade and soda and giving them to the guards but nonthing worked. Can someone help me out please? Thank You!
     
    Simple Questions - go use it. This question has been asked time and again, and it has been answered.
     
    But just to let you know you need some Tea, you get it from the same place were you get evee
