Wow... Sailor Moon is the first anime for a lot of people.... I'm not 100% sure about this, but I guess it was an early anime to be translated.

Not at all they've been translating stuff way before the 90's. O.o It was just one of the more memorable ones to be shown on Toonami. S was my favorite Season, but I like the baddies in Stars. XP I prefure the manga to the anime though.

Okay,we were just discussing how the art and the animation effect the beauty of the show.I guess Hotaru is right,the art is a tad bit prettier(I even used two of the color pics in my sig)

Naoko's images are much more feminine, and dainty manga wise, The Sailor Moon manga is what got me hooked on the darn books.

I think that is kinda impossible,because SM hasn't aired since,as i can remember,2002,maybe a little longer.It's not like the animators will get back to it(they hardly got to the S season here in Michigan)

No there aren't. O.o Naoko ended the series in 97', the manga and the anime, it was dubed in the late 90's in the US. And the senshi are named after the planets, so no, there is no "sailor thunder" or "sailor violet", Mamoru is the protected by the sun and the earth. Don't spew crap to make yourself look more intelligent then you are.

okay,since some people are confused,I'll post names and realtions:

Sailor Moon = Moon = ??White?? > Serena Tsukino > Usagi Tsukino(also known as Bunny to people cuz of the meaning of her name "rabbit of the moon")

Sailor Mercury= Mercury = Blue > Amy Anderson > Ami(nothing too diffrent,just spelling)

Sailor Mars= Mars = Red > Raye Hino > Rei(again,nothing too diffrent)

Sailor Jupiter= Jupiter = Green > Lita > makoto(big diffence here)

Sailor Venus= Venus = Orange > Mina Aino > Minako Aino(english slightly deleted letters of her name XD)

Sailor Mini Moon/Sailor Chibi Moon=Moon=Pink > Rini > Chibi-Usa(translation for me is unknown,but knowing the word chibi and her sze might get you na idea here XD)

Sailor Uranus=Uranus =??Gold?? > Amara > Haruka

Sailor Neptune=Neptune=??Marina Blue?? > Michelle > Michiru

Sailor Pluto=pluto=Black > Trista > Setsuna

Sailor Saturn=saturn=Purple > Hotaru Tomoe > Hotaru Tomoe(In my volume of the manga,it's vise versa O_o; )

Well,they are named after planets.So Hotaru's right.there willl be no Sailor Thunder or thema s far as we know.Cuz all we know is that they have elemental powers(like Raye=Fire.We don't consider her Sailor Fire)

Besides that,hope this helped people who aren't familiar with the series understand the characters better ^__^
