The central focus of this team is obviously sandstorm. All suggestions and criticisms are welcome, but please keep in mind I don't use legendaries.
Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Sand Stream
60 hp / 252 attack / 196 speed
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
I don't really know what to say about this, but it sets up my next Pokemon and the moves have a decent type coverage. I have a Tyranitar similar to this and it's done fairly well in the Battle Tower.
Garchomp @ Brightpowder D:
Jolly Nature
Sand Veil
16 HP / 252 Attack / 240 Speed
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang / Crunch
I've heard this thing is unstoppable. I'm willing to test it out >:] The evasion is really useful even though most people hate battling it, (it's defeated me numerous times in Wi-fi battle tower) but I guess it might be beneficial to my team.
Forretress @ Shed Shell
Relaxed Nature
Sturdy
252 HP / 162 attack / 96 defense
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
- Explosion
- Rapid Spin
Pretty useful, I can set up rocks and toxic spikes and spin away any that my team has gotten. When I think his job is done I just explode and it usually kills something, or nearly does.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Timid Nature
Natural Cure
172 HP / 120 SpAtt / 216 Speed
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Surf
Boltbeamer, good recovery move and coverage. Counters Infernape, Gyarados, and Garchomp somewhat.
Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Adamant Nature
Poison Heal
44 HP / 252 Attack / 212 Speed
- Spore
- Seed Bomb
- Focus Punch
- Stone Edge
Spore the opponent to sleep, then focus punch it. Seed bomb is for stab and stone edge is for coverage. Toxic orb poisons him and it gains HP and I'm pretty sure I can switch into Toxic Spikes with benefit.
Cradily @ Leftovers
Careful Nature
Suction Cups
252 HP / 164 defense / 92 SpDef
- Toxic
- Stone Edge
- Recover
- Earthquake
Meshes really well with my sandstream team, and walls special attack with the SpDef boost from Sandstorm. Toxic for increasing damage obv, and recover to support itself.
