Santa in Pokemon games??

    Hey ppl the pokemon ppl never thought of putting things like santa or like elfs. like pretend if santa challenges you to battle if you beat him *he has all lvl100 pokemon* you get like a new moon pass thing or get arceus something random.if they did that be kinda cool dont you think.
     
    They couldn't do it because Santa has to do with Christmas which is a religious holiday, and they could get sued big time.

    But it is pretty weird because I was wondering just today if someone could make a rom hack based on Santa :D

    ....What? You can't sue a private company for incorporating religious elements into a game >_>. They could make Jesus a Gym Leader if they wanted to, that's not illegal. 2nd gen is filled with religious and spiritual motifs.

    But why would someone even want Santa in the game?

    They might not get sued, but they could get boycotted by alot of people.
     
    What you have to understand here is that in the United States Pokemon is largely a kid focused game, but in Japan Pokemon is targeted to all ages, so they have to make a game that everyone would want to play.

    Seriously, I can't imagine a 20-30 year old guy caring about battling Santa Claus in a Pokemon battle.
     
    Or at least have a trainer somewhere in the mountains like a "Master Hiker" who only has Abomasnow (Tree), Delibird(Santy Claus) and a shiny Stantler(Rudolph), the three closest things we get to christmas in pokemon.
     
    if that happened I would have the longest laugh of my life xDDD That would be kinda cool though, but like someone said in a previous post they would get their butts sued
     
    There's a church in DPPt. Anyway, this is just going to cause controversy, and to be honest, the idea was off from the start.
