One of my long-time favorite bands has resurfaced in the past year or so! Was interested in knowing if anybody on the PC forums is also a fan of this band, as they intend on releasing a new album this year.

    Self-Titled
    In Search of Solid Ground
    Translating the Name

Upon the initial re-tour that started in Philadelphia, PA I was able to record each and every song they played. My videos ended up getting a ton of views and I had no idea why, but I ended up having my video's featured on AltPress! Pretty neat and am definitely excited to see where the music goes this year! ^^

I've only heard Translating the Name for the first time a few months ago and for a couple weeks after I think I listened to 'Seven Years' maybe 40 times. that song is fucking incredible and the rest of the EP is great too. haven't heard much of their other stuff but I hear there's a dip in quality. I'll check it eventually.

You'd probably really enjoy the rest of their music. Sure, Anthony Green isn't fronting it in those two albums but they are just as good! I don't agree that there is a dip in quality.

My sister liked them a lot during her emo phase.

    Gr8 B8 M8! 8/8

yeah I have a soft spot for the kind of music they make anyway so I'd probably get some mileage out of it. also can we talk about how fucking amazing Anthony Green is. one of the best post-hardcore vocalists I've ever heard, and that's tough competition.

Um. Yes please. I love everything Circa, TSOAF, Saosin... I got to chat with the Circa band briefly at a meet and greet before. Pics for proof, I'm all the way to the right. Anthony Green is one of the most hilarious dudes when on stage. He never fails to impress.

I even loved the artwork on the albums so much that I even got a couple of signed lithographs from Esao Andrews over the years.

I first heard of Saosin about a year after debut album came out. I think it was the summer of 2007. A friend had their songs on her MySpace page so I gave them a listen and loved their music! I I'm inclined to believe they were popular in Orange County at the time since they formed in Hunginton Beach (where I reside). I remember my friend saw them on tour aswell? I was young, but I felt like I could relate to their songs on a personal level. I was literally 12 years old. I believe Saosin got me into alternative rock so I thank them for that. I don't think I gave In Search of a Solid Ground much attention when it came out, but I do know their debut album stuck with me years after its release.
