Even though I have Pearl, I still like to play Sapphire and Emerald sometimes.

    Sceptile @Leftovers
    Timid – Overgrow
    EVS: 252 Sp. Att/252 Spe/ 4 Def
    -Substitute
    -Leech Seed
    -Leaf Blade
    -Thunderpunch
Very fun set to use, very annoying.

    Skarmory @Leftovers
    Impish – Keen Eye
    EVS: 252 HP/ 184 Def/ 60 Att/ 12 Spe
    -Spikes
    -Roar
    -Drill Peck
    -Rest
    Skarmory is a great Spiker!

    Milotic @Leftovers
    Bold – Marvel Scale
    252 HP/ 224 Def/ 32 Sp. Att
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Light Screen
    -Recover
The not so standard set, but helps Milotic absorb Sp. Attacks even better.

    Claydol @Leftovers
    Relaxed – Levitate
    252 HP/ 144 Def/ 144 Sp. Att
    -Rapid Spin
    -Earthquake
    -Psychic/Ice Beam
    -Shadow Ball
Claydol is my favorite spinner. I have shadow ball in the last spot to get rid of psychics.

    Heracross @Salac Berry
    Jolly – Guts
    252 Att/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
    -Endure
    -Reversal
    -Megahorn
    -Rockslide
    Standard Heracross.

EDIT: I like the idea of Regice in my last spot.

    Regice @Leftovers
    Calm - Clear Body
    252 HP/ 140 Sp. Att/ 96 Def/ 20 Spe
    -Thunderbolt
    -Ice Beam
    -Thunderwave
    -Rest

anyone with a groudon in ur game can easily kill you. Don't use magneton, it just adds to ur groudon weakness. Go with Tentacruel or a water that can resist grass so that u can counter to groudon.

    Wait.....What in the blue hell?

Groudon is uber so he wont be seeing it =/.

Tenta is weak to ground aswell, GROUDONS MAIN STAB MOVE.

    Also@Thread starter, please post evs.

D_A, this isn't Shoddy. He's talkin bout his Sapphire/Emerald Game. He'll be seeing Groudon. I forgot about EQ, 0.0, try Pelipper or Ludicolo.

    Um Rock Slide?

You don't even see Groudon ingame besides when you catch it, and it isn't exactly a killer threat there. It's banned from the battler tower/frontier making getting a groudon counter rather pointless. If this is competitive, Groudon is banned.

This looks like a competitive team considering there is a spikes Skarmory. You're going to want a special wall of sorts or your team is going to get pummeled by the likes of Alakazam and Starmie. Use Regice, Bolissey, or Snorlax in the last slot rather than Magneton.

If this ios ingame, anything beats the E4. I just doubt it is.

The fact that he took time to post a pretty well put together team with more than basic understanding shows that this is more than just for ingame. And if it isn't, he has shown that he at least cares for it being compettitive.

    There is also netbattle.

Sorry! I forgot to put them in! I just edited my original post with the EVs.
    thanks for reminding me.

I like the idea of Regice.
(on an unrelated subject I laughed when I read "Bolissey")

Ludicolo might work... but idk I still like regice.

Yep that's pretty well explains it. Sometimes me and my cousin will battle so we try to make competitive teams with the standard rules (NO UBERS!!!)...
I'll be sure to say whether it is in-game or not.

**I also don't see why Grodon will be such a big threat? I mean, I have Milotic who should be able to handle it pretty well.

Well no, Groudon would really hammer your team. That's not really of importance since it's banned from standard play and you'll never see it ingame either.

oh yeah! I forgot about the whole "drought + solar beam" thing.

anyway, would there be another pokemon (besides Grodon) that would rip my team apart?
