Satisfying Victories

After every battle I had with a rival I found the most satisfying wins came from G/S rival because he stole the starter type and i couldn't have but feel like I accomplished something in that game and in the end he had a change of heart after every battle in the league every tuesday and saturday.

Gary- Was annoying loved beating him but made me feel bad when he beat me.
May- Was very unsatisfying after the 1st battle where she bragged about having pokemon 1st and I destoryed her.
Jun- I loved being the friend that made him feel bad by completely annihilating him but that desire left when he kept saying "I'll get better"

So which rival made you have a satisfying victory?

All of my rivals don't really give me any satisfying wins because most of them are easy to beat. The only satisfaction from AI trainers I get is when I defeat the Pokemon League Champion because I'm through with the story.

In a way, I guess Gary gives me the most satisfying win since he is your rival who rose to become the temporary champion although I am more satisfied if I defeat a human opponent instead.

Try picking up a 6 year-old's Emerald and tackling May by the Trick House; it ain't an easy fight. It makes me appreciate Flash and what you can do with a little stat knowledge. The Barry fight in Canalave isn't necessarily "easy"', either.

It doesn't give me any satisfying emotion or feeling. I just continue on.

it satistfiys me when i keep beating barry because i feel hes getting storg as a trainer and if i beat him i feel a great trainer too.
