I'd really like to know what everyone thinks of this unique and game-changing movie. It opened to a surprisingly strong 33.6M on its first weekend, and despite allegations over a corrupt director who used scare tactics and neglected half his animation team, after seeing the movie last night I couldn't help but enjoy it, I haven't laughed that much at a movie in a long time; maybe ever. The fact that this movie is making good money could open the door for other studios to make more adult animation productions, which of course have the potential to flop but, if done in a way that works, like SP, could have a great turnout.
The main point of this thread is, though, what did you guys think of SP? I'm very curious to know. Like I said, I personally loved it, and thought it was hilarious.
