Save File Corruption

    My pokemon save file is corrupted, not the save state, but the in-game save file. I just beat the elite 4 and i have a save state after i beat wallace. I am using VisualBoyAdvance version 1.7.2. Is there anyway to continue?
     
    That didnt work, i can save the emulation, but the game doesnt save. It automatically saves then restarts the game after i ebat the elite 4 then once i try to continue, it says the save file has been erased due to damage or corruption.
