'Say water' Why? 'It sounds funny'

Nope, never, and that doesn't really happen to anyone, but people do put on other peoples' accents and say their name with it though, which can be funny considering how that person talks, so I know what you mean. Also, you can do that to everybody since everyone has different accents, nobody has the same.

No, not many things I say sound that funny. I should try to get like a fake accent or something to be more interesting. :(

Nope, people have told me I have the "perfect" accent. Even though its not possible lol

All the time. I can't pronounce my 'Rs', they come off as 'Ws.' Last year, this kid (a total idiot, mind you) was asking me to say things like Rainbow, Water, Roar, basically anything with an 'R' in it. Then, he stupidly said say, "Tuesday." It doesn't really phase my any more, I've grown used to it, as have the people around me.

I have a British accent mixed with some other thick accent, so my voice is all high and awkward. I can barely talk in French class without embarassing myself.

I "apparently" have an american accent despite I have nothing to with America. It took me a few years to pronounce Math as maths

Someone in my class has a very southern accent. When she says exciting it sounds funny.

I can pronounce "four"; it's always came out sounding like "fo".

Everyone asks me to say "four", and I wouldn't mind saying it once or twice.. a week. I just don't understand why everyone thinks it funny.

I have a Birmingham (England) accent, but because of my area, I abbreviate words when I speak. (Like 'Goin' instead of 'going')

I do get asked to repeat words sometimes, but I'm not that bad. However, one of my friends live in Liverpool, and she tells me to repeat words all the time.

EDIT: Just to say, I don't have a strong 'brummy' or a 'black country' accent.

I don't know about sounding funny, but when some Russian girls say certain words, they sound cute or sexy, or both. :3

I'm from Alabama, so I talk like a big ole hick. C:

I say water 'wuhderr'. That's pretty fun actually. I do not get ridiculed for my accent. My friends are just jealous of my unique accent. Some random people from my school actually ask me to say a word or too. These request are not much, but they are present.

I don't think I have an accent, unless there's some kind of California accent I might have. But I speak Spanish (not fluently, but enough to get by) and when I speak it I talk in a more Spanish accent. I'm totally white, and my friends always want me to say stuff in Spanish. :P

I have a slightly asian accent, which is usually just drawing out the ending syllables half a second longer than normal. Iunno.

Though, I've always wondered- If Americans fake British accents, do British people fake American accents?

My Utah accent isn't really distinct enough to be made fun of, I don't think. The words I say funny would be things like "mountain" or "garden," which I pronounce as "moun'ain" and "gar'en." I think the way I'm writing it makes it seem more exaggerated than it is, but whatever. I've never been made fun of for it since that's how everyone pronounces their words where I live.

Though, I've always wondered- If Americans fake British accents, do British people fake American accents?

Haha. I bet they would definitely make fun of southern accents and valley girl accents, since those are the most ridiculous in my opinion (no offence, maybe "more distinct" would be a better term? :P).
