Scaling Mt.Malaji

Mt.Malaji, a giant mountain with valleys, caves, brooks and much more. Mt.Malaji is giantly populated by many species of Pokemon big of small. But the biggest attraction of this beautiful mountain are the ledgends. According to the legends, Mt.Malaji is the resting spot of the ledgendary birds. The Magma Chamber with Moltres, the Icy Caves with Articuno, the Jade Valley with Zapdos and finaly the Sun Temple with Ho-oh. The legends indicate that only the people pure of heart will be able to reach the summit.

Although many people have tried to scale this wonderful mountain, all have turned back or disappeared without a trace. None of the climbers returning ever witnessed a sight of a ledgendary bird. Because of this, most people have dismissed the whole thing as just a old myth that isn't true. Although this hasn't stopped people from trying. Every month dozens of people try to scale the perilous mountain. This month a new company called "Pokeclimb" has put together a team to hopefully scale the mountain. The trainers and their pokemon have already gone through a month of training each for the hiking and climbing challenge, none of them have ever met.

The team meets at a small Pokecenter at the base of the mountain where they will pack up their equipment and leave my the next day.

Appearance: Dirty blonde hair, Navy sweatshirt and sweatpants (with Pokeclimb on it of course)
Pokemon Party: Noctowl, Growlithe, Hitmontop, Tangela
Personality: Outgoing and friendly. Can get impatient often though.
History: After his father disappeared while climbing Mt.Malaji, Scott set a goal for himself to finish what his father left off. After years of training, Scott saw his chance with Pokeclimb

Personality: Quiet, likes to listen. Doesn't speak out much.
History: Will likes to collect artifacts that relate to pokemon. In his collection he has a Rainbow Feather that he found at an abandoned tower, a Bone used by a 300-year old Marowak, two unrestored Pokemon Fossils, and a Stick that was used by a Farfetch'd. Will sets out to climb this mountain in hopes of finding more amazing artifacts that may be waiting at the sumit.

ic: Scott walked into the pokemon center. He looked around, this wasn't too bad. It would be okay to spend a few nights over here. Hopefully he wouldn't have to wait more then a week. He walked up to the front desk, "Hi," the young girl said, "You must be from Pokeclimb. The dormitories are down the hall." the girl pointed down a small corridor. Scott walked in, "Well, I'm the first on here." he thought to himself. He sat down in a chair smiling.

History: She was always the quiet one in her class. But it was unknown she was a daredevil. She does really daring things, it is hidden beneath her quiet personality, though.

Personality~ She has a quick temper making it hard to get to know her. Once you do you may find out that she has a kind heart that opens up to anybody.
History~ Her mother and father had died when she was a child (her mother by a heart disease, and her father died climbing the mountain) and was raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother was a ground type specialist so the element earth quickly appealed to Kya. Her grandmother had always told her tales about Mt.Malaji and the adventures people had climbing it. Five years after Kya's grandmother died, she set out to climb Mt.Malaji in memory of her father.

I walk into thje pokemon center "hi joy im from pokeclimb" "your the snond one to arive your dorms are down the hall and on the left the girls gorm is on the right" "thanks" i said walking down the hall. when i get in the room i notice only one kid sitting in the room i grab a bunk nect to him and start a conversition "hi im chris" i said holding out my hand for him to shake "do you know when this thing starts?"

Appearance: Dark blonde hair, dark blue eyes, black headband, black fingerless gloves, black tank top, black jacket, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.
Pokemon Party: Fearow, Stantler, Gyarados, Sentret.
Personality: She is friendly and likes adventure. She isn't very talkative but she doesn't mind giving advise. She is intelligent and a good problem solver. She is brave and always willing to make sacrifices for her friends.
History: She's from NewBark Town and has competed in many regional compatitions. She's a good trainer and is always pushing herself to be better. She's always been fasinated by the legendary Pokemon and the legends that go with them. She's wanted to climb Mt.Malaji for a long time and now she has her chance.

ic: Scott reached out his hand and shook Chris's, " Hi, nice to meet you. Hopefully it will start soon, we're just waiting for more people to arrive." Scott examined Chris, he seemed like a nice person, he'd be able to climb with him. Scott sighed, "If we don't start soon, who knows when another day like today will come up?" Scott settled into his bunk and relaxed.

Ruki walked slowly down the path staring at the mountain loooming before her. She was almost at the place. "I wonder what t will be like. CLimbing such an awsome mountain." She stopped and looked at the Pokemon Center in front of her. "Well it's time." She said quietly. She entered and noticed two boys nearby. They seemed to be talking about the mountain. She smiled and walked over to them. "Hello. My name's Ruki. I take it you're going ot climb Mt.Malaji?"

ic "ill be right back" i said walking out the room i walk up to nuirse joy and ask her when the climb starts she repplies "once everone who signed up arrives or notifies us that they pulled out or 2 days which ever comes first" the phone started rinning is i said thank you and ran back to my dorm almost knocking a girl over who had just walked in once back in my dorm I told scott "we will only need to wait a max of two days"

After getting a room for herslef Ruki laid back on the bed and stared at the cieling. "I hope we get moving soon. I hate being in suspense like this." She muttered as she rolled over. Staring at the wall didn't help much. Eventually she got up and left her room. She found some other trainers(no not Chris or Scott) and started talking. They were nice enough and agreed that they might have a battle before they leave. After that Ruki felt better and went over to the video phones to call Prof. Elm. She regretted this because she couldn't get him to stop talking.

Will entered the Pokemon Center at the base of the mountain. His Natu flew right behind him. "Hello Nurse Joy, I am here to climb the mountain with some other trainers. Could you direct me to them," Will asked politely? "Yes, of course. They are all in their dormitories," the healer said. Will evnetually found the Boys' Dormitory. Inside he found some boys that were about his age. "Hello, how are you all," Will asked.

"hey" i called back "another climber that only leaves 4 more people to come before the climb starts" i said impatinatly. "ill brb" i said to everone in the room before walking out to the vid-phones. i noticed the girl i had almost knocked over before sitting on the phone to prof elm and knowing his reputation for endlesly blabing on and on i tired to snnek past but he spotted me "hey chris long time no see" he said forcing me to grab a chair a join in the conversation. Elm then went into the introduction saying how long its been since i called him and how i helped him evolve a togepi. after elm hang up (his pizza was going cold) I apologised to the girl for knocking her over

Ruki smiled. "Don't appologize. It's alright." She stood up and stretched slightly. "I swear if he hadn't ordered that pizza he would have talked all day.' She shook her head then smiled. "Oh i'm sorry I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Ruki here to climb Mt.Malaji like you. Nice to meet you." She held out her hand. "What's your name?"

"im chris" i said shaking her hand before whispering to her "I dont want anyone to know this but im a psychic im telling you this because i know you can be trusted more than the others even though i will tell them im just going to wait till we are well away from the compition any way what do you think is at the top personaly i dont care whats up there I just want to find my brother, oh bummer elm's got me started talking like him again so ill just stop now." i said

"Ok." Said Ruki. "Well nice to meet you Chris."

The trainer she had been talking to earlier walked up to her and said, "Hey sorry for the delay. I had to get my Pokemon. So you ready to battle?"

"Sure. See ya Chris." She grabbed one of her Pokeballs and walked out side. "Go Sentret!"

"Go Totodile!" A rather large Totodile appeared. "Tote use Water Gun!"

"Sen Pound!" The battle didn't last long. Sentret ended up winning with a Quick Attack. Totdile gave Sentret a good beating though. "Good battle." Said Ruki smiling as she returned her exausted Pokemon. "Your Totodile was great. I was worried you'd beat us."

"Thanks." Said the girl who's name was Maria. "Here. If you ever want a rematch give me a call."

"You got it." Said Ruki typing the number into her Pokegear.

[Heart-felt]

[(Sorry for my late-ness, I've been over my head with other things. ^^')]

"Rapidash! What are you doing?" Legend laughed, turning around. The fiery horse had nudged her shoulder, nearly sending Legend sprawling to the ground. Legend had on gloves, and held a small plant she had been getting ready to soil into her mother's plush garden.

Rapidash whickered, stamping her front hooves. Legend tilted her head to the side, then realization struck her.

"Oh goodness! The climb! I should be at the PokeCenter by now, huh? Thanks Rapidash!" Legend exclaimed, quickly putting the plant down. The Sandshrew who had been helping her tugged at her sleeve.

"Oh yes, could you finish planting that, please? I need to get my stuff ready and get cleaned up here." Legend said, turning around and bolting across the nice green grass of her yard.

Legend bolted through the door, dashing through the living room and made a quick headway up the stairs and to her room. Getting out of her working overalls, Legend slipped on a light blue tank top, and snuggled into a pair of dark blue, hip-hugging jeans.

"Gold Jolt!" Legend called, glancing out into the hallway. She waited for a reply, but none came.

"Jolteon? Where is she?" Legend murmered, stepping back into her room to get some good shoes on, and then brushed her stylish sunblonde hair with the brown tips. Pulling her hair back into a ponytail, Legend picked up her small red duffel bag that held the things she would need.

Leaning out her window, Legend looked down into the yard.There Rapidash stood, and craned her head up to see her.

"Hey Rapidash, could you help me find Golden Jolt?" Rapidash nodded, and Legend rushed from her room. Once in the kitchen, she wrote a note for her mother, then stuck it on the fridge. Giving herself a chance to catch her breath, Legend leaned against the counter...and was nearly scared out of her wits. A soft yet firm something came to poke at her back, making Legend spin around with fright. Upon seeing what it was, Legend smiled faintly and put a hand to her thudding heart.

"Jolteon! You gave me a jolt of surprise there,"

Gold Jolt sat on her haunches on the counter, grinning good-naturedly.

"Well, are we ready for another adventure?" Jolteon got to her paws and nodded, and leapted into Legend's arms. Legend laughed and caught the Jolteon, hugging her close.


A few minutes later, Legend was on Rapidash's back, with Jolteon sitting before her, and Sandshrew clinging gently to her shirt in back of her.

"Alright, let's hit the road!"

Rapidash didn't need any encouraging; she shot forward like a flaming bullet. They were finally on their way to the PokeCenter.


Soon Rapidash skidded to a stop before the doors of the PokeCenter, sending up a bit of a dust cloud. Legend slid off, and Jolteon hopped down herself. Sandshrew had her head covered with her paws, eyes closed tight. Laughing, Legend gently scooped Sandshrew into her arms.

"It's alright, we are there now." Legend said soothingly. Sandshrew opened her eyes, then breathed a sigh of relief. Rapidash whickered, then leaned her head forward to nudge her PokeBall. A brilliant red beam of light enveloped Rapidash, then she was gone, safe inside her PokeBall. Still holding Sandshrew in her arms, Legend and Jolteon stepped inside.

Legend talked with Nurse Joy, Sandshrew leaping from her arms to come and stand beside Jolteon.

Legend led the way to the Girl's Dormitories, and stepped in. She set her things ona chosen bunk by the window, and sat down. Gold Jolt and Sandshrew leapted up and sat on the pillow.

"Well, I guess we wait." Legend said, laying back on the bed to wait for something to happen.
