    Serebii just revealed a new episode title.

    Sceptile! Dawn of Revival!

    Something tells me Groyvle's going to evolve. Whenever Ash used him in an important battle recently he usually got taken out. Will that change?

    Usually the series has been so adamant on not giving Satoshi a 2 stage evo, as Lizardon was kinda more fluke. Truthfully, given Special's influence and the setup of the original R/B, thought he'd get Venusaur myself as Lizardon didn't fit any image Satoshi (whereas Shigeru, a perfect fit) has/had. I guess this is an apology for this.

    I don't think so. I mean Ash doesn't get much pokemon to evole to begin with. I mean they never let Cynaquil to evole. I mean he has been in many tough battles and never evole. I mean they let Taillow but not little Cynaquil? Maybe but I not sure.
     
    Recently all of Ashs Pokemon have been getting to evolved forms...Ash is no longer the cute Pokemon holder....and we have reasons to believe other than this that Grovyle will evolve

    Yep. It may evole. I'm see that can happen? How you think this will change Grovle's attiude/ego. I mean remember when it evole from Treeko?
     
    Indeed, Grovyle has gotten mellow and not so bad *** as Treecko. So Spectile might be a wimp when it evolves. Although Charmander was sweet and then the reverse, it's all a crapshoot anymore.
     
    A wimp? I not sure about that. I mean he may be more relax but a wimp? I remember when charmander evole to Charmelon. He was like all rebellous. Then Charizard was mean and tough. Even after he started to obay Ash he was still rough with him. But calling Grovyle a wimp is to much. I say he may be more overconfidant abit in battle.

    Besides given how the anime does evolution so haphazardly, it's hard to care at times when it's going to evolve or what it will be. If you want wimp, look at Blaziken.

    Was so bad at the end of the fifth season and then with the second AG movie, it was playing with the other Pokemon, being cutesy and just being a dork. So given that, I throw my hands up in the air with the others and the producer's take on the Hoenn starter evos. At least Swampert is okay but yeah, blank at the moment.
     
    Still evoling in the show is compilcated. I mean I spent over half of the Johto sega thinking and hoping that Cyndaquil will evole. It never did.

    Well doesn't some guy in the Hoenn Championship uses a Spectile?
     
    Guh... I'm never good at guessing these things... ^-^;

    I say that it'll evolve. I don't know why, but I just think that it would be silly to showcase the evolved form of one of Ash's pokemon again. Not that it can't happen-- *coughRaichucough* --but I just think it unlikely.

    Grovyle evolving might change it, and it might not. Look at Chikorita, it hadn't changed much at all when it evolved, she was still leaping onto Ash and fawning over him. It took a fight with Ash to change her. Of course, the change from Treecko to Grovyle made its personality a little different, but not real different. I mean, it was a little less aloof, but this might have just been the result of getting to know everyone better. *shrug*

    I would like to see one of Ash's pokemon evolve and overtake him in knowledge. A pokemon with a sort of wiser look/act about it would be a nice addition to the carefree, happy pokemon that Ash has now, and I could actually see it working with Sceptile. Treecko's always had this air of superiority about it, so to become a very wise pokemon would be an easy transition.

    Eh... hopefully that made some sense... It's like 6:00 in the morning here... >.>

    Oh, and you're right DarkWeezing, it is truly a crapshoot. *nods*
     
    That might be possible. Or it could be some other dude/dudette's Sceptile.

    Well. If this counts as reviving a tread then sorry. I didn't know. I just want to say something.

    Looks like we were all wrong. It seems that Groyvle won't be evoling in this episode.

    Just debating on locking this or letting it die on its own, just it fulfilled its purpose.
