Scientology: Why 4chan is Targeting It

Let's just hope Scientology just doesn't find this and go crazy on anyone who posts here. Also any Scientologists, please don't take offence. It's just because of why 4chan seems to target it to my research.

After hearing on the Anonymous vs. Scientology issue, I researched the case in favor of Anon. It seemed someone put me on the right side.

Violent propaganda and brainwashing. Altering the law. Attempts at abridging free speech - speech criticising their church - and violent action, up to murder, upon people who do. This crap known as Scientology should not be allowed to happen. Anyone who watches NBC news will probably hear of how a gang of script kiddies who want a bigger influence on the world in order to make it more peaceful on 4chan and all the other chans called "Anonymous" are attacking the Scientology website. While 4chan is an image board known for the most stupid otakus and furries to appear and most of the memes, they have a point now.

Normally Anonymous tries to challenge big time corporations that the internet is against such as CNN or Fox News. They do this for the "lolz/lulz," but they seem that this time it's not for a laugh. It's for safety of humanity.

Scientology is one of the more weirder religions (though most of the internet thinks of it as a dangerious cult, and so do I), made by Ron L Hubbard. Scientology is a religion (cult) envisioned by L. Ron Hubbard, strongly based off his science-fiction book titled Dianetics. Before inventing the religion, Hubbard mentioned to a few of his dearly beloved that he was going to start a religion to make profit.

"I'd like to start a religion. That's where the money is," to Lloyd Eshbach; quoted by Eshbach in Over My Shoulder.

Their religion focuses on two primary things: Dianetics, and the Evil Lord Xenu, an intergalactic space alien. Since you've probably not heard that before (or at least not known it to be true), here's a bit about Xenu according to this cult:

Once upon a time (75 million years ago to be more precise) there was an alien galactic ruler named Xenu. Xenu was in charge of all the planets in this part of the galaxy including our own planet Earth, except in those days it was called Teegeeack.

Xenu the alien ruler Now Xenu had a problem. All of the 76 planets he controlled were overpopulated. Each planet had on average 178 billion people. He wanted to get rid of all the overpopulation so he had a plan.

Xenu took over complete control with the help of renegades to defeat the good people and the Loyal Officers. Then with the help of psychiatrists he called in billions of people for income tax inspections where they were instead given injections of alcohol and glycol mixed to paralyse them. Then they were put into space planes that looked exactly like DC8s (except they had rocket motors instead of propellers).

These DC8 space planes then flew to planet Earth where the paralyzed people were stacked around the bases of volcanoes in their hundreds of billions. When they had finished stacking them around then H-bombs were lowered into the volcanoes. Xenu then detonated all the H-bombs at the same time and everyone was killed.

The story doesn't end there though. Since everyone has a soul (called a "thetan" in this story) then you have to trick souls into not coming back again. So while the hundreds of billions of souls were being blown around by the nuclear winds he had special electronic traps that caught all the souls in electronic beams (the electronic beams were sticky like fly-paper).

After he had captured all these souls he had them packed into boxes and taken to a few huge cinemas. There all the souls had to spend days watching special 3D motion pictures that told them what life should be like and many confusing things. In this film they were shown false pictures and told they were God, The Devil and Christ. In the story this process is called "implanting".

When the films ended and the souls left the cinema these souls started to stick together because since they had all seen the same film they thought they were the same people. They clustered in groups of a few thousand. Now because there were only a few living bodies left they stayed as clusters and inhabited these bodies.

As for Xenu, the Loyal Officers finally overthrew him and they locked him away in a mountain on one of the planets. He is kept in by a force-field powered by an eternal battery and Xenu is still alive today.

One day I was walking in a shopping center, located in Alaska. I noticed a sign outside of a cafe that read "Free IQ Test". I thought it would be a neat Idea since I have never taken one outside of a establishment of Higher Education. As I was going through the Application Process, things started getting strange. I felt extremely Pressured to sign a form that stated I would attend a five hour "self-help" session after I took the test. I didn't have five hours to spare, so I declined and they kept telling me: "you will want to attend this session" and "So how do you believe this session, that you will attend, will change your life". It was all so weird and in my face... And then it all came out. They were Scientologists, and they were holding a recruiting day. I was out of there, and I snatched the paperwork that I had already filled out from the table. They tried to tell me that I could not take that information, but I did... And I literally "jogged" back to my car.

From my research, leaders of the Church of Scientology are very dangerious to their own kind. Even with the Anonymous raid occuring February 10th, they might sacrifice a few of their own kind in order to eliminate others. From what I heard, they use "Fair play," where they murder any non-Scientologist going against the church in anyway whatsoever in real life.

They have terms such as EOC (End of Cycle, a suicidal ploy where the leaders assign people to basically become suicide bombers just without the bombs, but just as deadly), and they stalk people and force them to become Scientologists. If there's anything that threaten's the CoS' existance, they are not afraid to send people into the threat and turn it into an act of violence used as persecution. Plus they seem to have a right to force women to commit abortion and that some people say Hubbard was a Satanist. The Satanist thing I can't confirm though.

This has been brought to my attention and it's been on my mind a lot recently. I'm quite anti-Scientology myself. It's a dangerous cult that brainwashes its followers and then steals from them, and it's completely insane that they can get away with it. It's a scam to steal from people while making a profit and not having to pay taxes because they're recognized as a "non-profit organization". I unfortunately don't have any way of getting to any of these 'IRL Raids' the Anonymous have planned, but I'm behind them all the way.

I agree completely, but religion has to make a start somewhere...
Scientology simply abuses the trust of their members, many of these being those who are already in need of help/resources. For such a new 'religion' Scientology has set up a massive number of drug rehab clinics.

You've got their main aims slightly wrong however, the story about Xenu is prohibited to be read by anyone below OTIII (!) - a high rank in their acheived heirachy, because lets face it; if a sane person did read about aeroplanes dropping hydrogen bombs into volcanoes, they would turn away completely.
Their primary focus is for humans to lower their thetan levels- achieved by attending sessions, helping other members of the church and of course, giving them money.

Rather than your link, I recommend Uncyclopedias article on -link removed- It's surprisingly accurate, as it says: "The truth is funnier than anything we can make up. Really."


I was approached by scientologists on the street once and partook in a 'Free Stress Test' and was encouraged to buy one of Hubbards books - of course nowhere did they say it was a scientology recruiting.
I knew their real identity, but went through with it anyway to see how far I could take the piss out of them. Eitherway I found that the speaker was highly patronizing, manipulative and frankly a liar (going so far as to shamlessly insulting doctors and quoting incorrect facts). I'm glad that for any attention this cult does have, it's bound to be negative.

Jaimes, I'd rather if people didn't link to article's such as those due to the content within them and on pages linking from them. That said, it isn't that hard to find information on Sciencetology yourself. There's quite a number of links out there if you just use Google. The actual Wiki article should be enough anyway, just make sure you read the Xenu story.

Also, I look forward to the day I meet a Sciencetologist and tell them the story about Xenu. It'll be awesome.

According to Scientologist doctrine, shooting someone with a Colt Single Action Army revolver is a perfectly valid way of "auditing" the person in question.

Also, who could forget their infiltration of the Internal Revenue Service and their conspiracy to frame an author on false bomb threats? Why the feds didn't crack down on the Scientologists more severely, I'll never know.

From what I heard, they're always able to send people to die for them. Like the Anonymous protest, they'll send people to make it a violent commotion and they'll stay intact. Infact, chances are that there'll be attempted murder of the Anon rioters but they'll say it's self-defence when that happens.
