    Game Scriptmaker's Script-Off

    Write a good event script for your Pokémon game!

    Scripts are the spines of games. In ROM hacks you can create a script that is a game changer, defining your game from normal GAMEFREAK games. These scripts can be anything from a trainer battle of the ages to an hour long court case!

    Custom games also use scripts, and these ones are almost entirely different! We are very glad to be able to host an event which will surely show some original, hopefully innovative ideas! And, you will get a sticky thread to promote whatever game/hack you own if you win! What a great opportunity to show off your talent and get a free promotion!

    Rules


    ~Must be interesting
    ~Cannot be a item script
    ~Must be by one person, no collaborative scripts
    ~Must be four days or less old
    ~Must have a video of your script in action IN ADDITION to the Text script
    ~You may not steal scripts, if so will result in an infraction
    ~suggestions?


    Tiers


    Their are three different tiers for the competition
    ~GB/GBC PokéROM Hack (RBY/GSC/pinball)
    ~GBA/NDS PokéROM Hack (RSE/DPPt/HGSS/BW/Mystery Dungeon/Trozei)
    ~Custom Game (RMXP, etc.)


    Rewards


    1st place will get a very smexy emblem and their hack/game stickied in either Hacks Showcase, Slideshow Showcase, Progressing Hacks, or The Showcase!
    Need suggestions if they don't have a hack/game
    2nd place will get a smexy emblem
    3rd place will get an emblem, too
    All participants will bet a participation emblem, regardless of if they win.

    Since I hosted last year's Scriptwriter's Competition, I know a little about what you two could do.

    Last year me and Zeffy did themes for each day, and then judged those scripts. You guys could do something different, yes, but that's what we did (or something between those lines). 'Cause it isn't that hard to create a good script in one day if you know what you're doing. :)

    And suggestions for awards? I think you guys got that general stuffed written down. :P

    I've been lurking in the shadows but there is nothing I could really add to the conversation...

    I say you should, I'll probally post the speed hacking so. yeah.
     
    I agree, that should be added, (as I didn't think about that)
     
    'Kay, that makes sense. (barely) but I doubt there will be many DS scripts TBH...

    As in actual ASM hacking? No.
    Asm being called in a script? yes.
