    I'm confused.
    How is that in Ash's first journey, getting all 7 badges and beating the pokemon league, only lasted one season?
    And when he was in Johto, it took him 3 seasons, and yet it wasn't 'tripled' in size...and now, Ash just got 3 badges and now they have a new season...why are the season's getting shorter?

    First off, every region has 8 badges, not 7. >.>

    The dub itself is entirely messed up. They seperated everything by seasons. Japan never had such things. From Kanto to the end of Johto, it was one entire series. Since Johto started, 4Kids has been putting every 52 episodes into seasons.

    >< sorry, I was thinking of Dragon balls, chaos emeralds, and lucky numbers.
    Really? 4Kids screwed it up huh? How so?

    Pok?mon was an entire thing in Japan. Everything was done and given on aimed date. Here, we get season repeats and all that garbage. Japan gets every episode in the right order. In the US, though, they dub 52 episodes, and then break off for a while, before making a new season of 52. They don't have to keep the same title, but they do sometimes. The Advanced Challenge intro came waaaaaay too early; in Japan it came at AG70.

    And yes, Kanto's First Episode to Johto's Last Episode was the whole Pok?mon of the old season. There weren't new intros to justify new seasons there. And, TV Tokyo completely revamped Pok?mon at the Advanced Generation, with episode previews, longer episodes, and a brand new intro. The intros there signify a new league, or when the current one feels outdated, they replace it with a great new intro. Just like "Challenger!". But here, every season seems to have a new intro, and it's messed up.

    In Japan, Ash's Adventure in Hoenn (and possibly after that) is labeled "Advanced Generation". So, anything related to Ash and his Hoenn Adventure is always gonna be "Advanced Generation".

    In America, it's always gonna be "Pok?mon". X_x;

    Just to add...there were 5 intros to the original Pocket Monsters Series....Season 1(Kanto) - Mezase Pokemon Master....Season 2(Orange) - Rival.....Season 3 (JJ) - OK!.....Season 4 (JLC) - Mezase Pokemon Master by Whiteberry.....Season 5 (MQ) - Ready! Go!.....and for Advance Generation 1st opening - Advance Adventure.....2nd opening - Challenger!

    There now we explained it all basically.

    It's almost to say that (for the dub) every new theme song is a new season. That may not be a great logic, but that's how it seems.
