i would have to say the SNES. Even though i was born the year N64 came ut, Super Mario World,Super Mario RPG, and Chrono Trigger, some of the best RPGs were on the SNES, and the Genesis had some good games too, but i would favor the SNES

Nintendo all the way. SEGA never matched up, not even in modern day.

Nintendo produced better games, imo. Though, Sonic was just epic. I'll go with Nintendo. I mean, Pokemon was my childhood game. <3

Easy! Super Nintendo! Can't play Earthbound on a Genesis =P

I have a Genesis, didn't care for it then, don't care for it now =P

Sega Mega Drive. I wish you silly Americans would *stop* renaming thing.

without nintendo we wouldn't have half of the games we have today

I have to disagree.
Yes, in '84-'85 Nintendo brought back the Games industry with their golden seal. So, in a sense, thanks you Nintendo, we wouldn't have any of the games if it wasn't for them, maybe.

I think that they have done a lot for the industry, but they haven't taken the next step in the graphics department.
Again, not everything is about graphics, but in this day and age, people strive for graphics. Some people won't even look at something unless it has graphics like Crysis.
I think they should have done better.

Wait, why did I even type this!?!?!?!

Anywho, I still stand by SEGA.

I'm probably one of the few gamers who was a kid in the 90s that wasn't part of the Console War between the two. I owned a Super Nintendo and played the heck out of my Super Mario All-Stars/Super Mario World 2-in-1 Cart, which I say this Super Mario World was better than the normal one because Luigi had his own special sprite set. Anyway, returning to the point, I actually didn't know what the Genesis was until a new friend of mine introduced me to Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

I became a fan of both systems, but since I like more Nintendo titles than Sega titles, I'll have to vote Nintendo.

Nintendo has always been in my house, that was the first thing I played as a kid. Starfox on the SNES was the first Nintendo game I played, I was like 3. The 90's was great time for gamers everywhere.

I've never had anything to do with Sega besides games, Nintendo has always been in my house aside from the WII. So i'm gonna choose Nintendo.
