September 2011 Banlist

I expect it will be a Tour Guide > Sangan > Number 17 > Effect > Sangan Eff + 500 ATK first turn; I manage to do it a lot.
But yes, I like the ban list, it hasn't really effected me in any way...​

It's either that or they open with Sarc to remove a level 4 or lower monster of their choice and Xyz into Leviair and summon the banished monster to do other shenanigans.
 
-sighs and puts more cards in cases as they have now become useless- >.> psh nah jking as Kaiba says "Screw the rules I have money!" well minus the money part >.> I'm getting annoyed putting up so many cards paying all that money for 20% of it to become useless outside of negotiated rules in games outside of tournaments. As un-professional as it is I've always only followed the limit 3 rule I of course let my opponents know this and that I ignore restrictions >.> not that I tell my opponent they can't. Yeah though ban lists >.> it'd be great if they stop making OP cards in the first place.
 
Trollnami pretty much broke the diversity we have the last couple formats.

Twilight, Chaos Variants are pretty much running wild now.
Seriously, just put in 3 Tour Guide, 1 Sangan and 2 Effect Veiler and you can splash BLS in that deck. Not only that but BLS pretty much can wipe out Stardust, Scrap Dragon, Trishula, Brionac, DaD, Hyperion and go toe to toe with JD, RDA.

Over all terrible list, 3 MST & Heavy Storm? There goes the usage of non-chainable traps.
 
Let's not forget that with Heavy storm back, people aren't going to be setting full back rows anymore. I see trap dustshoot being sided in more often to give an edge.

Not sided, mained in a lot of cases. I have it in my deck and it is so sweet to go first and set that card with mind crush.
Oh it is like the days of Delinquent Duo.​

I am going to main Dustshoot now, and maybe add a copy of Mind Crush, but that's still being considered. But yeah, Dustshoot is very powerful now, and also very fun to play first turn, like you said Captain Fabio. Delinquent Duo actually, isn't as good as the Dustshoot > Mind Crush combo, because this way, you get to select both cards discarded.
 
About time that BLS traded places with Oppression if you ask me but limited POA and banned Mind Master makes me kind of sad to be honest.

Absolutely love Destiny Draw being semi'd too.

That is very true; you gain a massive game advantage due to seeing your opponents hand first turn.
I have screwed my opponents so many times in their first turn thanks to this move.​

Its just a fantastic way of gaining instant hand advantage, they lose a set up card and you get to see their hand, so you can figure out some strategies and lock them down. Dustshoot is an awesome card.
 
DustShoot in the first turn is so pro. You pretty much know what your opponent is going to play once you activate it.

Blah. I can easily see that burn decks are going to be pretty much worthless. Especially agenst blackwings. While the last list pretty much forced me to do some serious modifications to my burn deck, this one here will mean either switching to a solar burn or just not running a burn at all.

But Spirit Reaper being unlimited now does give me a couple of idea's for a deck.

The most hated change for me is MST being unlimited. I'll defently be using a copy of Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell in whatever deck I decide on using.

I really need to start learning about more cards. My knowledge on cards is pretty limited right now, so im almost always going to pass over better cards for ones that I already know about.
