3rd Gen serious "bad egg" problem on pkmn fire red

Oh ****, I remember getting a Rare Bad Egg on my Silver version. ****ed up the names, ****ed up the graphics of the Pokemon in battle, and it restarted my game. And even when I tried to actually restart it, I couldn't play it.

I haven't seen it in any of the newer games though. I thought it was a G/S/C problem, kind of like Missing No. and 'M were a R/B/Y problem.
 
Bag eggs aren't glitches. They were deliberately put into the game to stop haked Pokemon (it only works on badly made hacked Pokemon though). But yeah, if you didn't cheat, it's corruption then, ouch.

Oh, hmm. I don't remember exactly what I did to deserve it, lol, so I think it's a corruption.
 
No . I tis like in my Sapphire , where I cheated like a batsard cause I got bored . Later I picked that Wynaut egg from Lavaridge and... oops ! I made 1 step and it hatched into a BadEgg !
I restarted the game and stopped cheating !
And yup , I know ye didn't cheat , I guess it is just a glitch... maybe ^_^ !
 
I've lost all my Lv.100s once too, because my Emerald got stolen. I was so sad and angry and annoyed (I was less than 10 years old at the time, keep in mind). I just decided to get on with life and buy a new Emerald. I never found out who really took it though. :(
