For about a week, I've been getting a weird page when I try to open some threads.
It happens randomly, so I cannot specify a thread.
    Here's a picture of it.
    [PokeCommunity.com] Serveradtest

It also sometimes happens while browsing New Posts, I already found out that it's loaded after actual page loads, so if I stop loading with Esc, I can prevent this from appearing but I'm not sure what to think of this.

I highly recommend using Malwarebytes for the suggestion above.
Thanks, did a scan and nothing found as I expected. I do use anti-malware software so I didn't expect that could be the reason.

This is most likely an issue on your end. I recommend running scans for adware and other malware on your computer. If it still pops up then we can investigate further here on PokeCommunity.
Yea, I thought so. Just wanted to confirm that.
(Fun fact, it just popped here on this thread when I was trying to post this =D)
The frequency dropped considerably today but it still appeared on some threads.
This only happens on Pokecommunity btw.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I know my computer is clean as a whistle; and I'm running into this same advertisement; on Ausadriel's profile no less. It seems to be a script that hijacks and redirects you to the page. No indication on whether or not it serves malicious content; but it IS annoying. Took me a few page reloads to spin that off of the rotation.

Keep in mind; I DO RUN AdBlock Plus 1.8.12 (Should be latest from CWS [ID: cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb]); looks like my filter-lists failed updating though.

I've updated the filter lists but I now can confirm the presence of the advertisement being not-so-nice; as well as being on a clean PC with clean build of Chrome; and no fishy addons.

This seems to be the same kind of malware advertisements from a couple of months ago. Steve said something about them and what to do , although I can't remember what it was, and reported them to google. Let me find the original thread.

    Edit: Sounds like this issue.

So it seems to happen to random users?

it looks like a domain (serveradtest.com) expired or wasn't renewed on time and a domain squatter / seller OR it was hacked and a hacker got it then changed the DNS - no real way to know.
Adsense is still trying to serve ads from it for who ever originally owned it.. the domain for-sale park pages are what's forcing the redirect as far as I can tell.

I have blocked serveradtest.com in our google adsense thing but not sure if it will fix this 100%.

As of right now I'm still getting served that advertisement. But then again I'm aware it can take a little bit for the google backend to register things.

It's likely very similar to this issue but from another bAdvetiser. These lowlifes don't want to earn their monies, they want to scam for it. sigh

Melody yes.. Allow upto 24 hours for the block to take affect.

p.s. I still can never reproduce these 'problem' ads.. where in the h3ll do you all surf to get these ads served to you?

...that's the thing. I don't surf anywhere weird. Just Youtube, Hulu, Ello, PC, Showdown, Wikipedia and Reddit. I even run adblock everywhere. (Also a Paid VPN provider)

hmmm (random) I'm just gonna blame reddit.. yup its them!

dunno then.. most ads are targeted and based on your browsing history (or page context if opt'd out) so...
