It seems to me you're setting a double standard.

Back in the day, all banned members got a second chance. Remember that? And some members got 4 or 5 chances, or even more. They were only re-banned when they started flaming.

Greg's tried to join again so that he can help webmasters. Have a look at the posts of his last few accounts. They're all tips and help for fellow webmasters. He hasn't flamed yet you keep banning him. Didn't even give him one more chance.

If you don't want him posting elsewhere, you can limit him, you know. IIRC, you let a certain person who had been banned several times already post only in the RP section. Why not let Greg at least post in the WD section only?

It isn't like Greg wants to do harm, at least help the webbies that could use his help.

There is not one person that deserves the WD modship, no one has yet to even come close to the skills of Simone, Gary, JA, and Greg.

I used to want to be a mod there, but I figured I too would eventually get banned just like all the predecssors (I don't know how to spell xD) typically do.

WD is dieing, and I will continue to campaign for anything to revitalize it. It is precious to me and the former mods.

Let us all help people in WD, come on give another chance you guys....

Yeah, everything turned upside-down when Abby left. PC isn't as tolerant as it used to be. But it used to be, like, a rule that people got another chance until they were IP banned.

If he flames someone, put him only in WD and moderate his posts which was closely to what you did for Kyle (Team Rocket).

Exactly. Greg is/was one of our more helpful and knowledgeable webmasters. There are plenty of Pok?mon sites that wouldn't be around if not for his help and expertise.

I remember that. But it has changed. I don't see you saying anything about Quast getting banned. Or sdp or salamance king and others. Just JK.
And I remember when Mods and members actually respected the higher Staff. And their decisions on matters of stuff that was out of their hands. I remember when a member got banned a thread wouldn't pop up saying "This is unfair he did ... so he should be un-banned". When I was Modded I remember when we talked about things on PC. But once an Admin or S-Mod said this is how it's gonig to go then discussion over. Unlike now days when someone gets banned a thread or two pops up about it every after being told why it was done.

He got more warnings then most members got. He went on then most banned members had. If it was any other member he would have been banned long before he got banned.

I'm looking at the usergroups. None of them are just for Jess where he can post in the RP forum.

If it was up to me, you wouldn't be on a 2 year ban JK. You would be on a permanent one.

Yea maybe JK was a good WD Mod. That dosen't change anything does it? Kairi was a great Mod and Admin. But is she going to get un-banned? No one should expect to get a "Get out of Banvill" card just because they were a good Staff member. Like D always says we don't pull names out of a hat and say "Ok this person is going to get banned today". It's not how it works, and with high profile members like X-Staff and members that is loved a lot we put more time and talking about that member before banning.
If I quit and flamed members and Staff a little here and a little there then the higher Staff would bring me up for banning (oh and I know some of you people out there would love that). It wouldn't be a 1 day thing where everyone goes "Ok ban him". They would talk about it for some time before they got around to banning me. And they would also go "Ok if he messes up 1 more time he is going to get banned" 1, 2 even 3 times before they got around to banning me. We did it with members like Kairi, a1337a, Alakazam, JK and so on.

Like it or not things have gotten better since Kairi quit and got banned. You might not see it, most Mods might not see it, most members might not see it. But things have gotten better (ask most of the higher Staff and they will tell you, most of us see things around PC in a differet way then most Mods and most members. I'm not saying we are any better or anything, I'm just saying we see things differently).
But this isn't a Kairi thread, it's a JK one. Both been banned both not coming back.
