Dogasu makes a good observation, which I drew the basis on in the following episode.
So Hikari finally gets her first ribbon. It took Haruka 51 episodes to do the same thing Hikari's done, so I think that says a lot about the character.
It also says a lot on the writers and their growing favoritism of her, as well. Either way, that's disconcerting, especially if you're a Haruka fan. Then again, it's also improving the writing by not dragging it out, as they've done many times in the past.
