Hi! I've done sprites for a while now, so I decided I should do a thread on it. Here are some examples.

Splices/Mixes.

Recolours.

Revamps.

Pixel-anime! Official art taken and given a sprite colour! (Old from 2000 or new from 2005)

- Disguises. I'm not too creative. Eheh.

Albinos

Pixel-overs. More sprite-like than Pixel anime.

Hors D'oeuvres (HD) A sprite with gold, silver, and any colour(s) of your choice if there's more than two colours.

End of school (ok...1 or 2 days only since we have to go to the cabin)

Time for my verdict.

Splices/Mixes. Takes 1-2-3 hours
Oh i liked this, a very solid splice (even if you did only add a tail and ears) but still, an original idea, nice.

Recolours...Sorta. Depends, usually 1-2 hours
No problems here, a standard recolour

Revamps, they're not too good. Takes 1-2-(3?) hours
Ahh, not the best of revamps, from what i can see the outline needs to be less black, and theres something about the eyes that just don't seem right to me and theres nothing wrong with a tad more shading, take a look at mine for example:

always make sure you have a Advanced Gen sprite handy for a good referance. Keep working at it and your bound to improve.

Ahh Pixel-overs, no one ever seems to do these, im impressed. No real problems with it, could do with a tad more shading but other than that its fine

Ok i'd like two different sprites, one is pixel art of the official art of Charizard, and the other sprite would be editing Pikachu into Sparky which is Richie's Pikachu. Is that okay?
