I used to be very fond of the Pok?mon TV show, but ever since I got a PC I haven't watched it for over a year. There was once a time when I'd never want to miss an episode. I remember I used to watch an endless amount of repeats when I came home from school, but I thought Pok?mon was becoming one of those never say die franchises after a while. They really should try and restrict the amount of Pok?mon they create because most of them are very similar in HP and behavior to the Pok?mon we've seen before.

*shrugs* Eh, I agree on the fact that some pokemon are just too darn similar, but I don't think they should restrict the amount they make. They just need to be more creative. ^-^ I mean, when they come out with the next set, if there's another stinkin' butterfly-like pokemon I'm gonna scream. Would it kill them to base it off of a unique and not so well known insect like a katydid or something? Perhaps a lacewing? Butterflies, moths, wasps, bees and dragonflies are all things we see in our daily lives. I want something a little more interesting.

Okay... um, that had nothing to do with the anime so... I want to see them in the anime too! XD

Aww it's ok ^^, I haven't watched pokemon in a long time either. It's kind of died a little...

I don't watch pokemon anymore, the episodes are all to predictable, ash will beat this trainer and be champion, yada-da-da-da same thing over adn over :/

Kanto was the only good season

Yeah the pokemon they make aren't creative, we should have a sturgeon pokemon or a cicada :/

I stopped watching a long time ago since they kept increasing the boring and usually pointless fillers. I wouldn't be suprised if this show passes the 11 season mark.

The Pokemon show. I must say I've gotten disappointed with it. The plots are predictable, boring, and just plain dull; they don't have that old spark they used to. It's like after the fanatacism with the show died out the writers just got bored and stopped trying to please fans. The characters and the plots are uninspired now. *rolls eyes* I've stopped watching it of late...

The Hoenn season starts off good when Ash meets May, then it goes off crappy.
The episode where ash is riding that boat to Hoenn destroys the whole season.
Ash never wins a poke'mon leage, the only one he has won is the orange islands. Maybe when the show is about to end ash will win another poke'mon leage.

I think him not winning a league is part of the whole "his quest to be a master" thing. Once that happens, the series will end...or we'll at least get a new main character. The Battle Frontier episodes so far are pretty good, the 8th movie was probably the best out of all the current movies, and ten times better than the 7th movie.

I've stopped watching the show regularily (though I still do every once and a while) since it's getting boring. All it is about is some person who needs help ("Oh, I've lost a Spinda!" or "Help my Remoraid evolve soon enough for the competition" ect.) and Ash and co. fix that problem by finding that Spinda or helping evolve the Remoraid.

Woah, I've made the show sound really bad now that I've reread it.

You aren't the only one who hasn't been watching Pokémon lately. The show has completely lost its spark -_- The plot is getting old, the characters aren't what they used to be. They made everyone a goody two-shoes. Ash used to be a self-centered, cowardly idiot. Now he's always the hero and doesn't seem stupid either -_- Sure the characters should mature when the show progresses, but they shouldn't change completely. What they did to Gary is really scary too.
