5th Gen Shark Pokemon?

i've worked with sharks in an aquarium before, and i love the creatures, so i agree that we need more of them in Pokémon (especially since we're running low in the real world :()…

Human's are destroying the planet by draining it's resources and are adding more fuel to it by having more kids which put more of a burden on the planet!
Is a fire shark a real species? Or are you just talking about the typing?

Christianity didn't pull the world into the dark ages...it was actuary only europe that was pulled into the dark ages and that was due to the fall of rome which was caused by the invading goths( the tribe not the people who were black who we know today as goths...)and other "barbaric" tribes and the broken parts of that empire fought each other until they decided to go find new land...
Well we do have a fire horse,pig, dog, and Roaster/ chicken :P

No it wasn't. you see Rome made a couple of bad mistakes about it's overstretch boarders, it also let in lots of people from outside the empire come in and take their jobs and join their army. the immigrants to rome didn't have much loyalty to the empire and eventually rebelled against the empire along with the Visogoths and the other tribes which broke their borders...they also had a out of touch leader...sounds like the USA right now except for the Immigrant part...I see them as having a bit more loyalty to the states then the Visogoths did for the Empire of rome...

point taken, but still if u believe in that false god& his "son" his "son" did foresee its fall lol so u can blame it on them :P

:D goblin sharks horn, hammer heads head design, tiger sharks torso, thresher sharks tail = oone badass shark lol

i want a whale shark :D
 
Whale sharks are actually pretty gentle. They eat krill.

However, they may be out of ideas for sharks. Sharpedo was a dark type to reflect people's fear of sharks, the Gib-Gab-Gar line was ground because they are Land Shark. (candygram)

What else can they use? Remember that they are not as versed in the ways of the shark as you are, and would probably use ideas that are commonplace or cliche.

Maybe a Great White, which would have large amounts of Attack and HP.

Or a Mako, with high speed and attack. That would be cool. I like Makos. I always thought of them as ninja sharks. That could be it's name! Ninjark. Sharkja. Ninjaws?

Garchomp isn't even close to being a Water type... thats most of the sharks we have now as non-Water types...

To be honest, I think Garchomps are based on jet planes more than they are related to sharks, even if their title is the "Land Shark" Pokemon. Eh, Sandshrew is more of a pangolin than a "Mouse" and Numel really should be camel over "Numb." edit2 Hell, Garchomp isn't even a "Land Shark." That's Gible. I hate Gible >_< That only makes Garchomp more related to jet planes, since it's the "Mach" Pokemon.

Not denying that they look like sharks, though.

edit Also ironic that the Pokedex brags about it being more of an air-shark than anything. Looks like Pokemon decided to mash everything together into one -- sea, land, and air. fml

A hammerhead shark Pokémon would be nice. Not sure about whether it would have another type apart from water, but if it did it'd probably be steel. Anyway, as long as they don't overdo sharks I'm happy with them making new ones, but if it becomes like Pidgey/Starly/Taillow/New Bird then that'd be a shame.
 
a hammerhead shark could be steel/water or fighting/water or mabey even rock water even though they have a bunch of rock water types. all three could use any headbutt moves like headbutt, zen headbut, takedown mabey, and so on
 
I think a HammerHeadShark would be either Water/Rock or Water/Steel, both represent its water sharkyness, and its pure strength.

And onto the subject of Water/Electric Sharks. I feel that a combination of the four main types (Grass/Fire/Water/Electric) should only be done once, which it has *Glances at Lanturn*. But maybe Lanturn could gain an evolution that makes it become a shark? I think it evolving into a dolphin would make more sense...

"Lazor" sharks FTW...

thats lame, and most likely would turn out HORRIBLY, plus steel is over powered all ready& they shouldnt make anymore, not til they change it so they have 1more weakness& 1more neutral.

dolphins are ugly :P

still land shark :P

and yes there are more non-water sharks than water sharks

last time i checked Sharks has soft skin unless rubbed against it wrong, so steel isnt even a plausible typing for a shark.
youd have a better chance getting a normal/water shark based on the bull shark before a steel shark
