6th Gen Sharpedo cant be found or caught

    Hi.

    Im playing omega Ruby and for some reason I cant get a Sharpedo (or its pre-evolution i dont know its english name). Im at the right spot, using the right fishing rod, but since 4 days and almost over 200 tries NOTHING. Pokewiki says its supposed to show up "alot" but i diddnt meeet one.

    Is it possible im having a bug in my copy? i tried several spots, all known locations of this pokemon.....nothing!

    According to Serebii, there's only a 5% chance of finding them on Route 118 and a 35% chance on Route 119 with the Super Road. But if you're really struggling, you can get one as a gift from a Team Aqua grunt in the Battle Resort.
     
    thats my problem..i cant even find a carvanha (i diddnt knew the name) neiter sharpedo or carnivahna can be found and carnivahna should be "very often"
     
    Make sure you are using a Good Rod and not another fishing rod. Go to Route 119 and use the Good Rod anywhere except the spots where all you get are 100% Feebas. It shoud not take long to find one, as they have a 35% encounter rate on that route.
