6th Gen Shedinija Glitch?

    I don't know if I did something wrong here or what, but I evolved my Nincadia just now so I could get it out of the way.. had an open slot in my party, as per-usual.. had 35 ultraballs on my person.. and yet I did not get a Shedinija out of the whole process. I'm kind of confused here.. did X/Y change what Pokeball a Shedinija can use? Thats really the only thing I can think of as to why ol' Sheddy didn't show up this time.
     
    To my knowledge, Shedinja only appears if you have a Pokeball specifically.
     
    As of generation 5 you need a POKEBALL in your inventory, otherwise you won't get a Shedinija.
