Yeah but it can also hinder. I was in the battle frontier in a double battle with Swampert andShedinja vs Porigon 2 and Stanler. the porygon 2 copied Shedinja Wonderguard so I couldn't affect him with anymoove. Luckly I had Dydamic Punch on Swampert (its powerful but inaccurete) which KOed him wih relitive ease.

Point is Transe can make u regret useing him in the first place.

Beside trace you can use ditto (and possibly mew) to transform. This way it's ability also became wonder guard but hp more than 1.

I also lose to greta because my metagross can't hit it in last battle.
Anyway it will have a hard time again tyranitar(sandstorm)

Shedinja is never the best of pokemon to rely on as it has many weaknesses. Use Shedinja to complete the pokedex i my opinion and my advice to you is if you wantits alright to use it when battling AI during te game as it can come in very useful but when battling other people i wouldnt rely on it, as many strategists will use moves like spikes and sandstorm which will eliminate it in a single turn. Good luck with deciding what your going to do with it.

when i had one i made it to learn protect and endure toxic and confuse
protect and endure -almost- works all the time if ur stalling for toxic to work
but it dies in one hit from anything but my one used to know double team which would be helpful for shedinja

I say to hell with it. Wonder guard seems nice until you look closer at his piss poor type mix. So many pokemon use shadow ball, crunch, fireblast, and rock slide. In game though, you can use a cleffa and own basically every trainer you come across.

Really, Shedinja's primal fear is a Skarmory. One move in specific: SPIKES. If you lay out spikes early in the game, it'll take Shedinja out before he can say hello. That actually happened once in the Battle Tower for me. And it was the best feeling. haha

Shedinja's neat for novelty, and being one of a kind Pokemon, but in battle he's almost useless.

Shedinja can be quite an annoyer in battles if you don't have the right moves to counter it.
Overall Shedinja is weak and it's not recommended in competitive battling.

well actually, there is a use for shedinja. to catch rayquaza without a master ball. the moveset u need is

theys the only moves u need for a USEFUL shedinja. but i can never seem to evolve ne nincada into shedinja exept 1.
