3rd Gen Shedninja on Leaf Green

Hey guys, my brother just gave me his old Leaf green to play. I was wondering if you could play with 3rd generation pokemon on Leaf (I have a gameshark, so I could just choose whatever) like Shedninja or Blaziken. Is this possible?

You can do it legitimately after you beat the game and catch 60 Pokemon, it allows you to do a side quest and trade with Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. But with a Gameshark it's usually frowned upon.

You have to have beaten the Elite Four, and beat team rocket again on the 4th and 5th island.

Yeah, you don't need a GameShark, Action Replay, etc.
