When I was watching the real version, I just pretended that they were saying the Cr*psule Monsters lines.
It helped me get through it. XD

But honestly, this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I don't know what 4Kids was trying to achieve with it.
I mean even 4-year-olds would think it's a piece of crap. XD

I always try to see dubbing as a positive thing, it gives so many people change to watch and get to know anime. When there are lots of fans it gives stores and shops reason to get anime and manga in their shelves and that makes getting manga and anime is easier.
Even though I respect fansubbing really much, I think that people who pay for dubbed or subbed DVDs are more better fans than those who just download fansubs or original version from Internet for free.
 
I wasn't saying that I hated dubbing in general, or even the Yu-Gi-Oh dub.
I'm just saying that...thing that 4Kids created was crap. XD
Like the movie, it didn't come from Japan originally. It was something made up by 4Kids.

Someone posted up clips from the German dub of Naruto on LJ a while ago.
Now that was bad dubbing. They made so many edits that it makes the Yu-Gi-Oh dub look good. XD
 
In fact, I think German dubbing is really good XD
And when comparing to translating manga German is ahead of US IMO XD
 
Have you seen what they actually did to it? XD
They cut out Zabuza's sword and all the blood during the scene where Naruto stabs himself to get the poison out. Although I have to admit the former was hilarious. XD

But the German manga is probably better than the US.
The US translation is horrible. D:

I wanna see the English dub of Valley of the End arc. I mean if they cut out everything that hints that Sasuke and Naruto might have deeper bond between then than friendship or brotherly love...What's left in those episodes then? XD

Indeed. But at least they're flashbacks that we didn't see before that...well except for the part where Itachi killed everyone. XD;;

Btw, sorry I couldn't get on MSN yesterday. I was out most of the day.
