Ever wonder where the shiny Pokémon came from, do you think they just appeared out of the blue?Well one day when prof.Birch was taking notes of Pokémon behavior out in a forest, he spotted a roselia with black and purple flowers instead of red and blue.Prof.Birch had then caught it and took it to his lab, where he studied it and after careful observation he found that the Pokémon was affected by something but he didn't know what.After contacting the other professors, they gathered and studied the roselia and after hours of observation they found that the Pokémon was injected with a device that they called shiny.Shiny was a small robot that someone injected into the Pokémon, the robot then let out small viruses that made the Pokémon turn a different color.Not only does it change the Pokémon's color but it also makes the Pokémon sick which makes the Pokémon's body vulnerable.So the professors came to a conclusion that someone is making the Pokémon sick so that they can take control of them.The professors called the one's doing this, shiners.
Soon after their discovery, more shiny pokemon were being caught by trainers which meant more pokemon being controled by shiner.The legendaries were soon caught by shiny but where not affected by shiny the same way the other pokemon were.When shiny entered their body's it spred the virus but the whole pokemon was not turned different, the pokemon split into two seperate pokemon so since shiny got to mew, there are two mews, one is shiny and another is the same.After a couple months the population of regular pokemon was almost gone exept, the legendaries knew that the way they could stop shiner was to team up with a human and make them understand what is going on so they can help.Then the legendaries then split up in search of worthy trainers that could help take down shiner.
