3rd Gen Shinny/speacial colour pokemon question

Now let's say I came across this pokemon that was green when it was supposed to be say.. blue, and I happened to have my zangoose who knew false swipes on me because I was about to search in, let's say... meteorite falls for a dragon scale, and say, I caught it, and in case you haven't guessed the pokemon yet, let's just say, hypothetically of course, that it was a bagon... when I evolve this "Green Bagon", will it remain speacial coloured?

(Oh yes, and to top off this rare find, I caught it on the same day I finally caught latios and reached 185 pokemon caught on my pokedex, talk about a good day :D) And what should I name it? The bagon that is.

2. Yes, it will remain shiny when it evolves.
3. Hmmm... perhaps name it Emerald since it's green? I don't know.
