Don't worry! I understand you may not be familiar with Giveaways but no; threads with the tag [Giveaway] are for free Pokémon! I give them out to traders so they may have awesome, free, legit Shiny Pokémon. I'll do this quite often too :)

the only shiny giveaway I've participated in besides this one was for a shiny ninetales, and I believe I offered a shiny for that one.

I'm sorry I'm such a noob to this stuff >.<
