does leaving a pokemon with 1 or 2 steps to hatch and then saving it make it the same natured pokemon and some colour when it comes out?

yes, the nature, IVS, and shinyness of a pokemon is determined when you receive it from the Day-Care man

Yeah murkro guys right the Iv's the secret code under 8 to make a shiny is all formed when the first interaction with the pokemon. Via egg would be as soon as it enters yoru party.

btw i thought if u save 1 step from hatching then keep SR and hatching u can get a shiny because ive got a few like that

no, its all determined when you get the egg. if you save 1 step before it hatches, every time you reset it will be the same nature, iv's, gender, etc.
