Am I just lucky or is it just too easy to get Shinies in Sun and Moon… In 3 days I already found 4 shinies, 3 (Formantis, Rockruff, and an unfortunately male Solandit) I actively hunted, and 1 I encountered at random (Goldeen while fishing for Wishywashy). Please note that I don't have a shiny charm yet and i've only done 4 trials (I'm taking my time with the game).
Pokemon chaining itself is easy since you just have to halve a pokemon's health and use an adrenaline orb… I really thought that I got lucky after encountering a shiny after only 1 hour and 30 minutes of play to get my shiny Rockruff, so I tried for a Formantis which took me around two hour. the longest one that I hunted was Solandit which took me at least 3 hours (it's a freakin male tho dammit). It's still time consuming yes, but not as much as a time sink as it used too; even with masuda method, it still takes me at least a couple of days before I hatch one.
So... Do you think it's easier to shiny hunt in Pokemon now? Did you already find any? And does the apparent ease of shiny hunting lower the value of Shiny Pokemon.
