How do you think shiny hunting will work in this game

I'm not sure if I was lucky or if the shiny odds are raised in this game, but I found a Shiny Psyduck about 15h into the game.

think there are just easy to find them being in the over world

Faced a shiny Luxio but he harry-karried himself on wild charge (after I brought him to the yellow region). Not really into shinies but I will try to catch one if faced with one. Already have a shiny yellow Shinx so was easy to recognize. No shiny caught yet.
