3rd Gen Shiny Lait@s?

    If you were to run into a Shiny Lati@s, and it ran away, would it stay shiny and be shiny the next time you run into it?
     
    Of course what did you expect? A color-changing Lati@s?
     
    r odds better to get a shiny latias/latios than other pkmn, cuz alot of ppl around here have said they have it.
    they either do, or they either dont/liying.
    i mean come on,wat r the odds of finding such a rare pkmn shiny.... :\
     
    I've never heard anyone say they have a shiny Lati@s. I don't have one. I was just wondering cause I'm still hunting for mine. I haven't even seen it yet, but I can still track it cause I battled a guy in his Secret Base and he had Latias so it went into my PokeDex.

    No, I didn't even run in the Lati yet. I can only track it cus I saw it in a Secret Base Trainer battle. :sleeping:
     
    on imakuni.com if u look at 'kuni?'s blog you can find out that he caught a shini ratiosu

    -.- charmander005, I have just a little suspision that you might have used the catch any pokemon on route 101 gameshark code, but on second thought, it looks like you might have caught that legit. and if u did your lucky because ive never seen a shiny before besides red gyarados from G/S

    No, it wouldn't stay shiny. If it did, then non-shiny Lati@s would always stay non-shiny, so you would have to restart your game constantly if you wanted one. At least this way there's a chance that it will be shiny... In short, no.

    What I did is I saved the game one route 101 and if Latias wasn't there, I turned of the game. I turned the game back on and it was on route 101. I saw that it was shiny, so I guess I am lucky.


    P.S. Doesn't the catch any pokemon on route 101 gameshark code make the pokemon level 2 or 3 that you find?
     
    I find the Route 101 codes useless. I use a different set of codes that let me catch them anywhere. It's somewhere in that pile of codes in the GS/AR codes sticky thread.
