I know that you can catch Shiny Pokemon in your games 1/8000+. But what I want to ask is which pokemon cannot Shiny??

All I know is Mew from the Toys 'R Us event and 10th Anniversary pokemon. Is it correct ???

Pokemon that are given at Events won't be shiny (though I do hear some shinies are given at Events...I don't follow this kind of stuff to say). But if at the event, you are given an item, like the Old Sea Chart, that is used to catch the legendary Pokemon yourself in-game, that Pokemon is obviously able to be shiny. (yay for my legit Shiny Japanese Mew~)

Well, Darkrai was given out in Japan recently. And yeah, that was a movie event. I dunno if there was a specific name though.

All legendaries from special events will not be shiny.

Sure, a pokemon given out in a Nintendo event cannot be shiny, but the pokemon you catch from ingame events maybe shiny, depending if you cheat or reset so many times.

English Pokemon that CANNOT be shiny:

~Mew: all of the Toys R' Us Mews were normal mews, no mather what you heard.

~Celbi: all of the 10th ANIV Celebis are normal.

~Jirachi: Nintendo set all of the Jirachis that can be downloaded form the Bonus Disc(USA) and Pokemon Channel(UK) to be normal, there's no way to obtain shiny Jirachis from those 2 discs.

~Darkrai: There's no legit English Darkrai yet.

~Shaymin: Thre's no legit English Shaymin yet.

    ~Arceus: Thre's no legit Arceus.

Pokemon that CANNOT be shiny(any language):

~Every event pokemon(but RUBY/SAPPHIRE Zigzagoon/Linoone) are normal, there is nohing such a shiny Mystry Mew or shiny 10 ANIV Suicune.

~Arceus: All Arceus are hacked in some way.

I thought for Mew you had to download the item and you could save right where Mew is at and keep reseting to see whether or not its shiny or not?

Yea, that's the Old Sea Chart Mew. But since Old Sea Charts were only given out in Japan, only Japanese Shiny Mews acquired this way are considered legit.

i have a shiny kicketune i got from the gts

I caught a shiny Shellos the other day and I traded it for 2x leftovers and a life orb.

Can I ask what these posts have to do with the question asked in this thread? XD
