4th Gen Shiny starters and hatches

    Something someone told me has been bothering me the most. They made it seem like it's almost impossible to get shiny starters and shiny hatches and that chances are very low. They also made it seem like most are just pokesave generated. I just don't know anymore. I've kind of been in a slump ever since. Is there someone who can relieve me of this stress and tell me otherwise? I just want to know what's what.
     
    you got the same chance as in the wild, it just feels like its less because your either resetting or running around to hatch the eggs. Trust me I spent over 20 hours from saturday-tuesday hatching eggs with no shiny psyduck to show for it but when huntng in the great marsh for one I saw a shiny croagunk just to have it escape...
     
    Yeah there's no extra odds, you just have to soft-reset rather than keep running.
