how do you get shiny pokemon? are they just random in the wildl or do you have to do something to get them? And also what if you evolve the shiny pokemon..will it still be shiny in its evolved form?

You got to do this chaining in your Pokeradar. It's easy and undersatndable enough. And do you expect evolved shinies? Became the original form?

i dunno in the new games but i nthe other games you can find the shinys just randomly

you can find shinies randomly through the game, but you only have a 1 in 8,192 chance of it happening i think it was. you can also breed shiny pokemon, and they hatch shiny, also has the same chances. and yes, when it evolves, it stays shiny.

you can soft-reset.

that is when a pokemon you are gaurenteed to see (starters or legenderys)
save when in front of them then speak to it if its not a shiny turn off the game,turn back on etc.

you cant breed shinys to have shiny babys.

you can breed pokemon and randomly have a shiny though and in gold/ sliver the chance increases if they are both shinys

yeah i know, i didnt mean if you breed shinies you will get shinies. theres still the same chance if you breed non shiny pokemon, it doesnt make a difference. sorry for not making it clear ^^
