how do you get shinys ?
is it through breeding or is it via catch'n them in the wild ?

Catching them in the wild, hatching them, receiving them (starters). But its way to hard i belive the chances are 1/8192

lmao! It is true. The chances are that high because they are rare pokemon. Why else would there be a S.H.C. club or alot of ppl want shiny pokemon?

Please look around before posting. We have had at least a ton of these threads in the past.
Shinies appear randomly, either in the wild or via eggs. The chance to get one is about 1/8192, as it has been mentioned.
The chances do not increase if you breed two or one shiny.
I'll add this to the FAQ to prevent further threads of this kind.
