Not to sound sexist but that's a strange one coming from a male. xD

I'm not quite sure what rivalshipping is, (some say another form of pallet, some say garyxritchie...) and I've really got no clue what those three are called.
 
It's just kinda rare. Not saying you get "T3H P1K4PWnZ0rD" if you support those kinds of shippings.
 
I'd have to say Pokeshipping; not only because Ash and Misty are my favorite characters, but has Gavz said up top they do have the longest history in romance wise. Ash is pretty much clueless to any sort of thing that is to do with love; but you never know one day something might happen; but no matter what I've always supported Pokeshipping and will continue to do so. The other shippings are alright; but Ash and Misty just seem to fit together you know.

When one person is clueless the whole relationship is screwed. Ash at least matured after Misty left, so it is more probable that Ash ends up with someone else if there is to be sane realism.

I have to disagree about the "longest history" thing, from Misty's side. She seems closer to Tracey now. She was with Ash from Kanto to Johto, but since then, he's seen her maybe... 4 - 5 times? [And he's never once gone to visit her specifically.]

But while he's been away [Hoenn to Sinnoh], she's just a short walk bike ride away from Tracey, and he's been shown to visit her on multiple occasions. I think it's safe to assume he's been visiting her somewhat regularly since then, as well -- I'm sure her Azurill likes to spend time with its mother.

So, the way I see it, he has indeed been with her the longest(Technically Brock, but...yeah), but Tracey is quickly filling that position for her. They've both spent the time it takes to get through 2 full and one small region. So, unless Ash starts spending some more time with her...

I haven't seen much of this "romantic" history, either. There was that one dance or whatever, and... I'm not sure what else. Care to refresh my memory? I seem to only remember the bad things. Such as Totodile. :\ I mean really, he couldn't let her have that one pokemon? That was the moment that any hope of Pokeshipping died for me. Also, I love how he invited her back to travel with him after her sisters got back from their trip... oh, wait...

Nope, I'm not saying it's canon at all. But Misty and Tracey's friendship is growing while her and Ash have only grown apart.

Which makes me think that this is the point when people will retaliate by saying "BUT MISTY VISITED ASH AND GAVE HIM A FISHING LURE ZOMG".

Which I won't do. And I don't agree with this madness.

I've never really liked three way ships, I like Ash/Paul but I hate Ash/Gary haha. Ash/Paul just seems so much more interesting. I'm not sure why I hate Ash/Gary so much, I just do haha.

Orangeshipping has *more* chance than Pokeshipping, but that still doesn't really mean there's much of a chance XD Tracy/Misty always seemed kind of boring to me.
