Yes, but it's highly unlikely. I mean, take a look at the evidences against it.

First, and most important, she seemed like she didn't give two hoots about his existance. She wanted Latios to obliterate him, if i recall correctly, while Latias jumps in the way of Latios's attacks.

Secondly, during the kiss scene, she said not a word, and, if you look closely, you can see Latias's golden eyes for an instant.

And thirdly, this goes tot he people who say it couldn't be latias because they see her flying overhead while bianca's still by the water painting something. That's hardly a decent piece of evidence, considering as when it showed Bianca painting she had the hat on, and during the kiss, the girl who kissed ash didn't have it. so that evidence is hereby trashed.

Let's see...

Latias came directly to ash for help.

Ash didn't get mad when she stole his hat, unlike the time a mankey did it and he got pissed.

After Ash got royally owned by Aerodactyl, Latias practically freaks out and dives into the water after him.
 
Aha, I never watched Heroes, I just knew Latias took Bianca's human form.

Still, it's obvious Wallace would do the same for Steven and vice versa, and they have a relationship built over time whereas Ash and Latias just met, so my point still remains that all they have is a kiss.

And Ash and May never kissed. Never. Not ever.
 
Alto Shipping is most unlikesly besides Pokeshipping. The Japanese wouldn't be stupid enough to make such shippings cannon IN ANY franchise. End of Story


K, The Movie premiers tomorrow on cartoo network, I will look for oral hints on Pearlshipping as I barely found Physical ones on the Youtube Japanese Movie, the most obvious is when Ash save Dawn, the scene is so Pearlshippy. Maybe Pearlshipping is officialy the most likely to be cannon. Pokeshipping Failed, Advanceshipping is old and to tell the truth... Nah, i'll post my dream in the thread in Other Stuff.
 
Hey, they had canon pairings at the end of Digmon. Ruined the series for half the fanbase iirc.

And you can't look for verbal cues in a dub.
 
Have you been living in a cave? 4kids never translated the show correctly, but PUSA always translates directly, so it's safe to say that the Dub today can have those original hints. Or someone who knows japanese can see the original movie so we can compare. We'll find out tommorow
 
It's in my nature to doubt any dub's credibility, especially for a children's show.

If you find a shippy line I won't attack it but I want proof it was in the original before I'll consider it.
 
Go from beggining to :25 and 4:20 to 4:36 in this for some hints I found. You can't claim this exact to the dub since it was posted on Feb. 3. Careful as you'll end up with spoilers if you don't follow my directions. I'll find more during the marathon maybe before the Movie at noon. I shall not be held responsible for strong spoilers.

I wouldn't say that "canon" for pearlshipping can be possible, Pokeshipping still has a chance, and Penguinshipping is uncomfirmed. I support Pearlshipping, but I wouldn't think about it 24/7. It could bring in a downfall and nothing will ever happen between them. Unlike Misty and May towards Ash, Ash and Dawn had created a greater friendship than most others and taking things slow in the series. It could get better, but that depends on how the story goes.
 
i'm not even going to get into this argument.

but one thing i wonder, and it involves the movie...

I couldn't decide whether Alice liked Darkrai or Tonio... i mean, she acted in both ways a few times during the movie.....

That's... what, again? I'm guessing it's Tonio and Alice, but correct me if I'm wrong, as there's nothing on bulbapedia as far as i've found.

Anyways, whatever TonioxAlice is, It's made it's way into my book of good ships. I went and rewatched the movie, and there's a heck of a lot more hints at it rather than at darkrai.

UPDATE: I'd have said this in a seperate post but then i'd be a dP'er and nobody likes that.

I only just figured out the name of another ship which I like, but, which, sadly, died.

LoveShipping, or MewtwoxAmberwo. Also known as replicashipping, both refer to the same ship and they're both on the list, so i can use either one i please. remember in mewtwo's origin, how he met that little girl? those two. Sadly, it died at around the same time she did. which, incidentally, was the absolute saddest moment in pokemon (to me anyways)

I personally think that then whole Misty thing was an unrequited love. I don't think that Ash likes Misty back at all.
Though I know that it will never happen, I would love to see a Ash & Dawn shipping. But, there will never be a shipping on that show with all the different characters.

Haha Restalker is Darkrai and the little boy he gives nightmares to in Canalave. That boy needs a name. I call him Sandy.

Loveshipping is sooooo sweet. A shame Ai died or I would so be putting Mewtwo with her and not Deoxys.

let's see... no thanks to the restalker, then. As for that little kid, I call him a variety of names. It's usually just "Dumb Kid" or "Bob."

as for loveshipping, heck freakin' yeah. I bawled my eyes out when ai died the first time i saw it... and the second time.... and third..... and then i didn't see it again for several years... and then i rediscovered it about a week ago on youtube. no bawling of the eyes, but still...
 
Pearlshipping is the most evident at this point in the anime. but some people don't wanna admit it. So is orangeshipping

Oh answer this question plz: Doesn't Sir Aaron from Lucario: and the mystery of mew looks just like Ash and Dawn combined? It could mean something out of the ordinary...

I also agree with you. And I will admit it! And not because I am a Dawn fan, but there just seems to be something there.

And to Fox... I haven't seen that one yet... But I'm sure it was a hint to everyone that Pearlshipping is the right shipping.

Sir Araron has only been confirmed with the same aura as Ash. So it's pretty obvoius that Aaron is Ash's Ancestor. But Dawn? I don't think so. The japanese made this movie before Dawn's final appereance by Ken Sugimori (maybe even scratch appearance) so it is chronologically impossible for Aaron to resemble something between ash and dawn.
